GGP Events is an agency under Godgiven Prevails Productions ( GGPProductions) .

TIG wears a lot of hats in handling the business and professional development of their clients. We have a wide array of responsibilities including:

NEGOTIATING CONTRACTS

Music industry contracts are incredibly complicated. A large part of TIG is advising it’s clients on business decisions and negotiating on their behalf.

MARKETING AND IMAGE

The success of an artist depends a lot on good marketing and branding. TIG help craft a musician’s public image with an eye towards current trends in music.

TOURING

Tours have a lot of moving parts and require strong logistical and planning skills. TIG work to get it’s clients booked in good venues & markets and follow through to make sure that tours run smoothly.

ARTIST DEVELOPMENT

We help to nurture an artist creatively. We often have contacts in the industry with music producers or other artists who can collaborate with our clients and help them grow as artists.

PROMOTION

An artist’s success is contingent on good promotion. TIG works hard to promote its clients music and get them featured on music websites and publications that can help spread their reach.

BUDGETING AND MONEY MANAGEMENT

We build teams around our clients to help them manage their finances and keep tours and production under budget.

Shady G

Hip Hop Artist

Shady G

17 years old Sabelo Cebolakhe Mtshali who also goes by his stage name Shady G is one of the upcoming artists born and bread in the eastern part of KZN, Mtubatuba Town. The rapper is inspired by the society he grew up in. He has currently worked with a couple of other local artists and producers. Shady G started writing music back in 2014 when he was doing grade 5. It all started with peer pressure. The majority of his peers were doing music except for him which lead to him being an outcast. Then he decided to start writing music too not realizing that he’s constructing his life. Due to rates of studio fees Shady G’s first song “Dubai” was released in 2017 featuring Inno. As time went on he dicided to take music seriously. He also released 2 singles in 2018 which brought a lot of attention to him.

Soul’ello

Hlumelo Majavu known professionally as Soul’ello, is a South African singer, songwriter and a Performer. He is known for his soothing sound of soul and dance music. At his tender age, when his late father used to play soulful keys, Hlumelo would take a board and mimic what his father was doing not knowing it was his introduction to Jazz music.

Later on he began singing at school open mic nights and at Church then went to stay with his family relative in Pretoria and thats where he begun to consider himself a student because thats where he was introduced to an orthodox type of music which was an eye opening for him.

2011 saw Soul’ello joining JUST6, one of South Africa’s leading acapella groups. It is where his art of song writing and live performing came into fruition. They recorded their first album titled STIMELA at Jazzworx alongside one of South Africa’s accomplished sound engineers Riffi Wacho.

With his background of Jazz, acapella and interpretation knowledge of African sound Soul’ello started writing his own music working with the likes of Natz Efx, Mzidou, DJ Agent Lingas and DJ Palture to mention a few who helped him to fine tune his art with a supporting management team of Tshangela Innovative Group. He is now about to introduce his contribution of Jazz, fusion, soul music and true form of his music to the African industry.
